Whoops, forgot to put up my newest piece, Daniel Craig as the new 007, James Bond. Give him a chance, people.
The night before last I watched The Nets game, the Knicks triple overtime game, Lost and the Cavaliers/Wizards game...gotta lose that remote. A few thoughts:

They killed off Eko on Lost. He was one of my favorite characters with a great backstory. Lost is starting to annoy me.

The Nets looked really good. They will be really fun to watch this year.

I was watching the Knicks and they were up by 13 and were whooping it up and celebrating like crazy. And I said to myself "Are they kidding me? They will blow this lead easy..." I went downstairs and made lunch for the next day and by the time I came back up they were tied at 89. I just had to laugh. Good game, though. That's the kind of game that the Knicks would've lost last season. Again I have NO idea what to expect from these guys this season, none whatsoever...

Well, tonight starts another season in hair-pulling for me as the Knicks kick things off. Wow...Is there anyone that the Knicks are NOT paying this year? They bought out the rest of Jalen Rose's $16 million dollar contract and also settled with Larry Brown for an undisclosed sum....but that's gotta be in the $20-35 million dollar range. Wow.., they may owe me money for all I know. I've never met Isiah Thomas and James Dolan but, hey, it's possible.
I'm not sure WHAT the Knicks will be like this season: they could win anywhere from 25-40 games. (40 might be a stretch but I don't know. If they put it all on the court they could be trouble. Maybe even make the playoffs... wow, did I just write that?) It will be a crazy ride though...Marbury and Francis are pals now but how long before they are fighting on the bench? And will Eddy Curry be consistent? Will Jerome James make it up the court on consecutive possessions? And is it me or do the Knicks have 27 players on the roster? Gonna be strange..
Now the Nets could be fun. A Jason Kidd-Marcus Williams backcourt is fun to watch. Kristic will be better and Vinsanity and RJ will be exciting to watch. This could be a really good year. And here in the New York-New Jersey area we have the pleasure of listening to Marv Albert eviscerate the Knicks (fairly of course) when the two teams play each other. He and Mark Jackson can't help but kick the Knicks in the nuts during the telecasts. It's kinda painful, like hearing a guy rag on an ex-girlfriend when she's jobless or hooked on heroin. And we get that 4 times a year (5 if you count pre-season). Good stuff.
